Howdy folks! I read a couple of excellent posts at Smirking Chimp from our revered Jedi Master, and ended up here.
I use terms from Chomsky and Bakunin to label myself a libertarian socialist. I think the community should decide what it wants based on what the community needs. We currently have a system whose only goal is concentrate wealth in the smallest number of hands possible. That is morally wrong and politically stupid, as French royalty, among others, discovered.
I blog at Bad Attitudes, which was founded by novelist and former White House speechwriter (under Carter) Jerome Doolittle. I also have some older stuff at my personal site, Belisarius Blogs!, which is not named after the TV producer but the Roman general and top-flight citizen.
