hello,
looking forward to some good discussions. I live in Northeast Pennsylvania in the Endless Mountains area (not the Poconos), the town where I live is so small, the sign says welcome on both sides and it's only 3" thick. We have more cows than people.
My partner and I have 3 dogs and 5 cats.
I work as a cad drafter/graphic designer (and other duties as assigned). In my free time I paint/draw - some of my work may be seen at my blog: Blueberry Scribbles
Politically, I've always been on the left. More often than not, when I've had to register to vote - it's been as an independent. The first presidential election I was eligible to vote in was CARTER-FORD - do the math and you'll have an idea how old I am.
I am currently a registered Democrat. Back in 2000, I was a registered independent, but after the florida fiasco switched to Dem so I could vote in the primaries. (PA is a closed primary state). Gore was the first "major" party candidate for president that I ever voted for, prior presidential elections I had voted all over the board as a way to register my distaste for the candidates. I also voted for Kerry in 2004. Both my votes for Gore and Kerry were not votes FOR them, they were votes AGAINST bush. I plan on voting for whoever the dems put up in November - because mccain scares me worse than bush.
